Introduces the student to the study of microbes in the immediate environment. Suitable for a class of up to 30 students and may be used at any educational level. Students learn to pour plates, isolate molds and bacteria from a variety of sources, make plate counts of bacterial colonies, and prepare slides for microscopic examination.
