Description

This innovative kit enables students to explore the physiological processes that allow them to maintain a constant body temperature. Using liquid crystal thermographic material, students examine vascular responses to temperature changes. They also examine and compare the insulating properties of various wet and dry fabrics. Materials are sufficient for 6 groups of 4–5 students.
