The Labconco Basic™ 47 Fume Hood is simple in design but fully equipped to handle the most rigorous demands of your science laboratory. The automatic bypass system reduces face velocity fluctuations and ensures efficient removal of fumes. The concealed counterbalancing sash weight makes sash position control effortless. The Basic™ hood size is ideal for rooms with ceiling heights below 8 ft and for shallow countertops.
The 4-ft Basic™ 47 Fume Hood is equipped with a 1/3-hp blower motor; this hood overcomes a maximum external static pressure of 0.25 H2O at 100-fpm face velocity (720 CFM). The hood comes with a 10"-diam PVC exhaust collar for connection to an external duct system. The right-side service panel is factory prepared for up to 3 service fixtures and 2 duplex receptacles. Requires installation, ductwork, external wiring. Optional base cabinet and work surface sold separately. Electrical requirements: 115 V, 60 Hz. Dimensions: 47" W x 25" D x 53" H; wt, 370 lb.
