Shows internal structure, internal construction details, and operating principles of a Wankel engine. Unlike other engines, the rotary piston engine avoids reciprocating parts. The power piston is an equilateral triangular rotor within an epitrochoid-shaped working chamber. A simulated spark plug (lamp) indicates the firing point. Lamp requires 2 AA batteries (not included). Dimensions: model, 10-1/2 x 6-1/2 x 5"; base, 8 x 8 x 2-1/2". No assembly required.
