This compass combines precision and durability. The tungsten steel needle rests on a sapphire-jeweled bearing for high precision. The liquid-filled chamber quickly stabilizes the needle for fast readings and cushions it from impacts. Dial is graduated in 2° increments and is mounted on a clear, scratch-resistant base plate lined with scales in centimeters and inches. Compass diameter measures 45 mm, base plate measures 57 x 90 mm.
