DNA Interactive DVD

This DNA Learning Center presentation uses a variety of visual materials to make DNA research more accessible to students.

The over 200 multimedia clips include:

• Vivid 3-D animations illustrating: DNA structure, transcription, translation, DNA recombination, tumor growth and spread, the polymerase chain reaction, human genome sequencing, and more. The animations have narration options for different instruction levels.
• Video interviews with 11 Nobel Laureates and more than 50 scientists, clinicians, and patients. The discussions cover subjects from major scientific discoveries, to science and experimentation, to the effects of a specific genetic disease.
