Grades 6–12. For 32 students. Similar to our DNA Necklace Kit (item #211138) in that students create a necklace, but with this kit students capture a living Daphnia magna and wear it in a necklace. Students then use the remaining culture to study basic Daphnia anatomy. Kit includes live cultures, food, cups, tubes, pipets, yarn, and teacher's manual with extension ideas and reproducible student sheets. Note: Springwater, microscopes, and microscope slides are among the items needed but not included.
