Grades 2–6. Recycle 2-L plastic bottles as a TerrAqua Column and study the connections between aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems. Students construct a control chamber and a treatment chamber to study the effects of nutrients in the soil on terrestrial plants and aquatic systems. Kit includes seed, soil, fertilizer, aquatic plants, and snails. Bottles are not included. Demonstration Kit is sufficient for 2 demonstrations or for use by 2 to 6 students.
