A fast, economical method of performing on-site analyses of specific gases. Set the volume of air to be collected, either 50 mL or 10 mL, then use the precision sampling pump to draw the sample of air (or other gas mixture) through a calibrated, glass gas detector tube. Contact with a specific gas causes a color change inside the gas detector tube, which enables the user to read the concentration of the gas directly from the wall of the tube. The entire test can be accomplished in less than a minute, with an accuracy that rivals gas chromatography! Pump comes with detector tube activator and soft carrying case.
